Job Description
The Corporate and Donor Engagement Coordinator is responsible for generating fundraising income from corporate, foundation and government sources. Under the supervision and with guidance from the Chief Development Officer, this position builds relationships with corporate and foundation partners to increase funding levels, and identifies/secures new funding partners. This position is also responsible for managing and implementing the donor stewardship plan.

Essential Job Functions
MAJOR DUTIES AND SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES (Inclusive, but not limited to):
• Lead the development of funding plans and strategy to engage government, corporate and foundation stakeholders on a year-round basis, and to secure additional financial support for the organization.
• Steward relationships with current corporate and foundation donors, while identifying and establishing ties to new donors.
• Identify and secure local, state and federal government funding.
• Maintain regular communication and conduct face to face visits with corporate and foundation partners. Facilitate and lead Club tours with partners and prospects to further demonstrate organizational impact.
• Maintain and enhance donor stewardship plan designed to increase donor retention and support of Club programs.
• Manage cause-marketing campaigns with local corporate partners.
• Manage, facilitate and supervise activities related to proposal generation, renewals, prospecting, reporting and stewardship.
• Perform prospect research to identify new prospective donors and grant opportunities.
• Support organization’s advocacy plans and goals through communication and face to face visits with elected officials.
• Coordinate and execute stewardship activities in collaboration with board leadership and the Chief Development Officer.
• Responsible for enhancing and promoting monthly giving program.
• Work with the Chief Development Officer to produce specialized cultivation and/or stewardship events to increase awareness and develop major gift prospects.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor and prospect information in the Donor Perfect database.
• Understand how to store, manipulate, and retrieve data from Donor Perfect database. Generate contribution reports, reminders and various ad hoc reports as needed by the Development and Finance teams.
GENERAL/OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Promote high ethical and professional standards in all activities and with all agency staff.
• Maintain ethical standards established for fundraising professionals.
• Maintain confidentiality of donor information.
• Ensure that supervisor is informed of any recurring or significant problems in a timely manner.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required or as assigned.
Education
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required.
Experience
At least two years of fundraising experience in the nonprofit sector with an emphasis on corporate and foundation relations, grant writing, and government grants. Knowledge of Boys & Girls Clubs preferred.
