Job Description
Palmer Group is working with a reputable building materials distributor seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Representative to join their team. As a Sales Representative, you will be pivotal in managing all aspects of the sales process, driving sales growth, establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships, and promoting their products and services.

What you will do:
Build and maintain relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the assigned territory
Meet and exceed sales targets through effective prospecting, negotiation, and closing techniques
Develop a deep understanding of our products and services to communicate their value propositions to customers effectively
Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and logistics, to ensure seamless customer experience and efficient order fulfillment
Oversee the entire sales process from bid preparation to delivery of goods to the final destination
Keep abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies and tactics
Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review
What you will need to be successful:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (preferred)
5+ years of sales experience, preferably in a distribution, construction, manufacturing, or related industry
Experience selling products vs. services
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong negotiation and closing abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite
Aptitude to learn products to ensure you are the subject matter expert for your clients
